Small in scale, big on charm. Syngonium 'Mini Pixie' is a compact, dwarf cultivar of the classic arrowhead plant, prized for its petite, neatly formed leaves and tidy, mounding growth habit. Where standard Syngoniums vine and sprawl, Mini Pixie stays contained and bushy — making it an ideal choice for small spaces, terrariums, desk arrangements, and windowsill collections where scale matters.

The foliage is a fresh, medium green with a subtle sheen — clean, unfussy, and quietly beautiful. A perfect starter plant and a reliable workhorse for any collection.

Care Guide

• Light: Adapts well to medium to bright indirect light. More light encourages compact, vigorous growth; lower light is tolerated but may cause the plant to stretch. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the delicate leaves.
• Water: Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Mini Pixie is forgiving of occasional missed waterings but will not tolerate sitting in water. Reduce watering in winter.
• Humidity: Tolerates average household humidity well but thrives with 50–65%+. A pebble tray or grouping with other plants is sufficient for most environments.
• Temperature: Prefers 60–85°F (15–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts, air conditioning vents, and temperatures below 55°F.
• Soil: A well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix works well. Adding a small amount of perlite improves drainage and prevents compaction.
• Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season (spring–summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength. Avoid over-fertilizing, which can cause leggy growth.
• Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when roots begin escaping the drainage holes. Given its compact nature, Mini Pixie rarely needs to move up more than one pot size.
• Pruning: Minimal pruning needed — simply remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking its best. Pinching back occasionally will encourage an even fuller habit.
