Philodendron FL Beauty x Mayoi Fishbone
$165.00
A collector's cross of two revered species — the velvety depth of FL Beauty meets the architectural precision of Mayoi's fishbone fenestration. Each leaf is a study in contrast: rich, dark green overlaid with subtle iridescence, dissected into the unmistakable lateral lobes that made Mayoi a staple of serious collections.
Rare, slow to produce, and unmistakably statement-making. Not a plant you find — a plant you acquire.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright indirect; fenestration and color depth peak at 200–400 fc. Avoid direct sun.
- Water: Allow top 1–2" of substrate to dry before watering. Err dry over wet.
- Humidity: 65–80%. Humidifier or enclosed shelf recommended.
- Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). No cold drafts or below 60°F.
- Substrate: Chunky mix — bark, perlite, coco coir. Avoid dense potting soil.
- Fertilizer: Quarter-strength balanced liquid feed weekly in growing season; reduce in winter.
- Support: Climbing form — moss pole or coco totem encourages larger, more fenestrated leaves.
- Repot: When roots circle the base or exit drainage — typically every 1–2 seasons.
