Epipremnum Amplissimum Variegated 6"
$30.00
One of the more coveted aroids in the collector community, the Epipremnum Amplissimum Variegated sets itself apart with long, lance-shaped leaves splashed and streaked with creamy white to pale yellow variegation. Unlike its all-green counterpart, the variegated form is slow to propagate and limited in availability — making each specimen a genuine find.
Offered in a 6" nursery pot, this plant is well-rooted and ready to climb or trail in its new home.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright, indirect light is essential to maintain and develop variegation. Insufficient light will cause new leaves to revert toward green. Avoid harsh direct sun.
- Water: Allow the top 1–2" of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow to drain completely. Overwatering is the most common cause of decline.
- Humidity: Prefers 50–70% ambient humidity. A humidifier or pebble tray will support healthy, large-leaf growth.
- Temperature: Keep between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from cold drafts, air conditioning vents, and temperatures below 55°F.
- Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix — potting soil blended with perlite, orchid bark, and a small amount of worm castings works well.
- Fertilizer: Feed every 3–4 weeks during the growing season (spring through summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength. Withhold or reduce in fall and winter.
- Support: Naturally a climbing epiphyte — providing a moss pole or coco coir totem encourages larger, more dramatic leaf development.
- Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years when roots become visible at drainage holes. Move up only one pot size to avoid overwatering risk.
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
