Light

Prefers bright, indirect light. The silver coloration intensifies with good light but will fade or scorch under direct sun. An east-facing window or a spot set back from a south-facing window works well.

Water

Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Rhizomatous begonias store water in their thick rhizomes and are more drought-tolerant than cane types — overwatering is the most common cause of decline. Water at the base to keep foliage dry.
