Care Guide

• Light: Bright indirect light is essential to maintain the golden Aurea coloration. Insufficient light causes the warm tones to fade; avoid direct sun, which scorches the foliage.
• Water: Allow the top inch or two of soil to dry between waterings. Alocasias are prone to root rot — never let roots sit in standing water. Reduce watering in winter.
• Humidity: Thrives at 60–80% humidity. A humidifier is strongly recommended — low humidity causes leaf edge browning and crisping.
• Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F (18–29°C). Sensitive to cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F.
