Alocasia Pink Bambino
$45.00
Alocasia Pink Bambino is a compact, collector-favorite dwarf Alocasia celebrated for its arrow-shaped, deep green leaves adorned with silvery veining and a soft blush-pink underside. A petite powerhouse of tropical drama, it’s perfectly suited for terrariums, shelves, and curated plant shelfies alike.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun; low light will diminish the leaf color and slow growth.
- Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Bambino is prone to root rot — always use well-draining soil and a pot with drainage holes.
- Humidity: Prefers 60–80% humidity. A humidifier or enclosed shelf setup works best; avoid dry air and heating vents.
- Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). Sensitive to cold — keep away from drafts and temperatures below 55°F.
- Soil: Chunky, well-aerated aroid mix (perlite, orchid bark, coco coir). Avoid heavy potting soil.
- Fertilizer: Diluted balanced liquid fertilizer every 2–4 weeks in spring and summer. Hold back in fall and winter.
- Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years; Bambino prefers to be slightly snug in its pot. Go up only one pot size at a time.
- Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Small in stature, enormous in personality. A must-have for any serious Alocasia collector.
