Care Guide

• Light: Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Tolerates lower light better than many Philodendrons, but growth will slow and internodal spacing will increase. Avoid direct sun, which can bleach or scorch the foliage.
• Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Philodendrons prefer evenly moist but never waterlogged soil — ensure your pot has drainage. Reduce watering frequency in winter.
• Humidity: Comfortable in average household humidity (40–60%) but will thrive with higher levels. Elevated humidity supports larger leaf development and a healthier overall appearance.
• Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F, which can cause stress or leaf damage.
• Soil: A light, well-draining aroid mix — perlite, coco coir, and a small amount of orchid bark — provides the balance of moisture retention and aeration this hybrid prefers.
• Fertilizer: Feed every 2–4 weeks during the growing season (spring–summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength. No fertilizing needed in winter.
• Support: Naturally inclined to climb — a moss pole or totem will encourage larger leaf production and more vigorous vertical growth as the plant matures.
• Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years when roots begin to circle the base or emerge from drainage holes. Step up one pot size and refresh with a fresh aroid mix.
