Care Guide

Light

Thrives in bright indirect light. Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can bleach or scorch the variegation. Tolerates medium light, though colors will be less vibrant.

Water

Water thoroughly, then allow the top 50–75% of soil to dry before watering again. Peperomias store moisture in their thick leaves — overwatering is the primary cause of decline. In winter, reduce frequency significantly.

Humidity & Temperature

Comfortable in average household humidity (40–60%). Prefers temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C). Keep away from cold drafts and heating vents.

Soil & Repotting

Use a well-draining mix — a 50/50 blend of quality potting soil and perlite works well. Repot every 2–3 years or when visibly rootbound. Prefers to be slightly snug in its pot.

Fertilizer
