Hoya Jennifer
$25.00
The Hoya Jennifer (Hoya lacunosa x obscura 'Jennifer') is a rare hybrid of quiet distinction — its small, slightly cupped leaves are a warm, glossy green with a subtle texture that catches the light with understated elegance. Compact and trailing, it drapes beautifully from a shelf or hanging position, building into a lush, full display over time.
Like all Hoyas, Jennifer rewards patience and minimal intervention, producing clusters of delicate, sweetly fragrant blooms on mature vines. A refined addition to any Hoya collection, and a plant that grows more beautiful with every passing season.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright indirect light is ideal for healthy growth and blooming. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the foliage, and prolonged low light, which inhibits flowering.
- Water: Allow soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Hoyas are susceptible to root rot — err on the side of underwatering.
- Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity; mist occasionally or place near a humidifier for best results.
- Temperature: Prefers 60–80°F (16–27°C). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F.
- Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced or bloom-boosting fertilizer at half strength.
- Repotting: Repot infrequently — Hoyas bloom best when slightly root-bound. Move up only one pot size when roots escape the drainage holes.
