Epipremnum Snow Queen Pothos
$12.00
Epipremnum aureum 'Snow Queen' is the ethereal counterpart to the classic golden pothos — its broad, heart-shaped leaves are heavily marbled in white and soft cream against a pale green base, giving it an almost frosted, luminous quality. More dramatically variegated than the Marble Queen, Snow Queen's foliage leans whiter and more striking, making it a true focal point in any plant collection. A refined, gallery-worthy trailing plant that rewards attentive care with breathtaking growth.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright indirect light is essential — the heavy white variegation means less chlorophyll, so Snow Queen needs more light than standard pothos to thrive. Avoid direct sun and deep shade.
- Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Water less frequently than solid-green varieties; the lighter leaves are more sensitive to overwatering.
- Humidity: Prefers 50–70% humidity. A humidifier or pebble tray helps maintain optimal conditions.
- Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F (18–29°C). Sensitive to cold drafts and sudden temperature drops.
- Soil: Light, well-draining aroid mix with added perlite for excellent drainage.
- Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer. Avoid over-fertilizing, which can stress variegated foliage.
- Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
