Alocasia Sanderiana Bull Pink 3"
$75.00
Alocasia sanderiana 'Bull Pink' is a striking cultivar of the legendary Kris Plant — native to the rainforests of the Philippines, its deeply lobed, arrowhead leaves are defined by razor-sharp sinuses, bold white venation, and a rare blush-pink flush that suffuses the undersides and emerging growth. Architectural, dramatic, and unmistakably rare, the Bull Pink is a collector's statement piece.
Arrives in a 3" nursery pot.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright indirect light. The pink coloration intensifies with consistent, bright (but not direct) light. Avoid low light, which fades the blush tones.
- Water: Allow the top 1–2" of soil to dry between waterings. Highly susceptible to root rot — never allow roots to sit in standing water.
- Humidity: Prefers 60–80% humidity. A humidifier is strongly recommended; dry air causes browning along the leaf margins and loss of color vibrancy.
- Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.
- Soil: Fast-draining aroid mix — perlite, orchid bark, and coco coir. Avoid dense, moisture-retaining soils.
- Fertilizer: Balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength, monthly during the growing season.
- Dormancy: May enter dormancy in low light or cool conditions — maintain warmth and humidity to encourage re-emergence.
- Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
