Unlike larger Alocasia species, Maharani stays petite and upright, making it an ideal statement piece for collectors seeking maximum impact in minimal space. Each plant is grown with meticulous attention to foliage quality and root health before leaving our greenhouse.

Care Guide

• Light: Bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which scorches the textured leaves.
• Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Never let roots sit in standing water.
• Humidity: Thrives above 60% humidity. A pebble tray or humidifier is ideal.
• Temperature: Keep between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from cold drafts and AC vents.
• Soil: Well-draining aroid mix — perlite, bark, and coco coir blend recommended.
• Fertiliser: Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength.
• Dormancy: May drop leaves in winter — this is normal. Reduce watering and resume care in spring.
