Care Guide

• Light: Bright indirect light is ideal. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can bleach the delicate mint coloration.
• Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Alocasias are prone to root rot — never let them sit in soggy soil.
• Humidity: Thrives at 60–80% humidity. A humidifier is strongly recommended, especially in dry climates or winter months.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). Very sensitive to cold — keep above 60°F at all times.
• Soil: Light, well-draining aroid mix (perlite, orchid bark, coco coir). Avoid dense potting soils.
• Fertilizer: Diluted balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during the growing season. Reduce or stop in winter.
• Potting: Prefers snug pots — avoid overpotting, which increases risk of root rot.

Note: Alocasias may drop leaves during acclimation. This is normal — new growth will follow once settled.
