Alocasia Azlanii Orange Mint 3”
$265.00
Alocasia Azlanii Orange Mint is an extraordinary collector's aroid, celebrated for its deep, iridescent green leaves flushed with a rare warm orange-mint undertone and vivid red-orange petioles that glow like embers. A close relative of the prized Alocasia Azlanii, this form elevates the species with even more dramatic coloration — a true showpiece for the discerning grower. Best displayed where light can catch its metallic sheen.
Care Guide
- Light: Bright indirect light maximizes the iridescent coloration; avoid direct sun which bleaches the foliage.
- Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Azlanii forms are particularly sensitive to overwatering — err on the side of underwatering.
- Humidity: 70–85% preferred. A humidifier or enclosed grow cabinet is strongly recommended to replicate its native rainforest floor habitat.
- Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep consistently warm; cold snaps below 60°F can trigger dormancy or leaf drop.
- Soil: A highly aerated aroid mix — equal parts orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Avoid dense, moisture-retaining soils.
- Fertilizer: Diluted balanced liquid fertilizer every 3–4 weeks during active growth. Withhold in winter. Excess fertilizer dulls the foliage sheen.
- Note: Alocasia Azlanii Orange Mint is toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
